Baked Apples with
Gorgonzola Cheese
4 Rome apples, cored
4 tablespoons golden raisins
4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
5 tablespoons Moscato wine
1⁄3 cup sugar
4 tablespoons Gorgonzola cheese
Preheat oven to 375°F. Generously butter a medium baking pan. Arrange the apples in the pan. Spoon 1 tablespoon of raisins into each cavity, then add butter to each. Sprinkle each with cinnamon, drizzle with wine, then sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until apples are tender. Remove and top immediately with cheese. Let cool slightly and serve.
